Bought EDGE with SPT. How to read barcode?

Just a for my info thing. How do you read castrols barcodes on edge bottles? 1 quart bottle is A1310820759 H2. 5qt bottle isA1304931340 H2.

What exactly are you trying to find out from the barcode?

You are referring to the fill code and not the barcode. The letter "A" is the code of the manufacturing plant. The next 5 digits are the most important. The first 2 are the last two digits of the year the container was filled. Both of your examples were filled in 2013. The next 3 digits are the day of the year. 108 is April 18th. 049 is February 18th.

Really guys i get a nevermind? Just looking for date of production. Spoke to a castrol rep at COTA australian v8 supercar race and was told they have made improvements recently to their american oils.
