So I was cruising around the internet a couple weeks ago and saw that Seiko had just released a limited edition Pink Panther watch. Loved the cartoon when I was a kid. Called a few local stores to see if they had one in stock. Nope, they a went out the same day they came in. Searched Chrono24 and a few were there but nearly double the MSRP price. No thanks. On a Lark I called a Jewlery store that I had done business with in the past and they had one so I made a little road trip to Ann Arbor and picked it up.

Not a serious watch but it will work when I want to have a little fun. Seiko 5 SRPM07

It certainly is a serious watch (y) with a very good & reliable 4R36 automatic movement that hand winds & hacks. The dial color isn’t my particular taste but “ya gotta luv it”!

Good move & wear it often!

While the dial is indeed pink, I don't see a graphic representation of "The Pink Panther" on the watch itself.

I've no recollection of the Pink Panther's footprints being used. The footprints Seiko used aren't even 'animal cute' ones.
They look like "Chernobyl Mickey Mouse" trademarks.
