I predict that you will get your money's worth out of the car. If you take care of it the car will last a very long time.

Fantastic car, I rent them regularly. I much prefer the hybrid over the normal model. I tend to get 40mpg with them.

Please post a few pics.

Just got home from picking it up. My wife drove it but she got 56.6 mpg on the 45 mile 80% highway/20% back roads home. I like the two tone interior color and I find it to be a sharp car for a base model. Cheers!

That is not what the W stands for. Also, consider the fact that your engine is not always running in your oil change intervals.

The engine will run about 99.9% of the time. It can go maybe a mile on full electric below 45 mph but any slight throttle input will kick the engine on. It does shut off every time you fully let off the throttle tho.

I'm about 6k miles into a 2022 Camry LE hybrid and so far I'm averaging 49 - 51 mpg per tank. It's been a great little car for me and I have zero complaints.

A few takeaways....

-It gets excellent gas mileage. I got 58+ driving 10 miles each way on 45 mph roads.
-The lane correction feature works well. I turned down the sensitivity all the way.
-I dislike the "active cruise control". It auto brakes and maintains equal distance. Maybe I'm just old school and drive too close to others!
-The ride is quiet and planted. It doesn't feel squirrelly over bumps, humps, etc.
-The electric/motor transition is seamless. I can hear the motor running but with the music up, I'd never know.
-The apple play and screen configuration is well designed and easy!
-The 12 volt battery is located in the truck in a pocket that sits below the trunk floor. Well designed!

I like this car very much!

The car looks great! I am pretty sure the base model Camry Hybrid gets better MPG than the high end version.
I think about 44 mpg because of the bigger wheels. Pretty sure that's what Car Care Nut reported on his YouTube video. The SE has 18 inch wheels and 19 inch wheels on the XSE.

Yeah, I own a couple (3 actually) myself. But once you've had a Tesla, every thing changes. Warts and all...

I've always heard the driving experience with the Telsa models are awesome! One day I'll get my hands on one, most likely when they come down in price and my children are older and don't trash everything they sit in.

I have the 2020 camry hybrid le just went over the 26,000 miles mark. I have averaged 53 miles to the gallon. When I bought no one was in the dealer's showroom and i had a choice of over 20 cars got a good price and a great 3 year lease. I can buy it in May and sell it for more than 8000 over my buy out. I will keep it unless the dealer starts selling the new camrys at msrp or less. Only issue I had the regular battery went bad and they put in a new one and they made a computer adjustment that was drawing power even after the car was shut down.

Wife likes here ‘21 Hybrid. LE specifically for the narrow rubber—she finds it a mystery that anyone would want to pay extra for a car that gets less mpg. I’m happy that I don’t have to deal with alloys nor wider tires that have less sidewall. But she would have liked to have a heated steering wheel, I think that is the only thing she misses. That and the fact that the LCD in the center stack cannot be turned off.

We’ve never checked mpg, the readout stays up in the 50’s (mostly because I’m not allowed to drive it).

Watch out for dirt roads—best to avoid altogether. I had to remove all of the undercladding last winter so as to remove 5 gallons of sand that had accumulated. Not joking—it was a full 5 gallon bucket. I’m guessing I will have to do that again, even if she avoids dirt roads, as clearly it’s a good sand trap.

I can turn the screen off in my Prius Prime. Takes a couple button presses and gets "undone" whenever someone wants to change a radio station.

I've not touched it, going off what the wife informs me. She says something about the off button isn't.

Maybe in 8 or so years when it gets passed down to me I'll figure it out. :)
