finally after looking for months for a car for daughter we got her 2019 Hyundai Tucson SEL. $22k. the msrp was $28350. Got the SEL instead of the Value for the bigger engine and wheels and auto climate control.this is the first Hyundai we have ever purchased.

Was looking at CRV/RAV 4 but they were all close to 30k for anything close to the stuff in the tucson. and toyota and honda are not known for discounting much. one of the negatives of the tucson is the fuel mileage. its about 10 -15 % lower than the others. positive is the regular auto trans and not a DCT or CVT.

my daughter grads college this quarter and it will help her start her new life in the working world.

No school debt and new car. great way to start out.

Congratulations! Hyundai and Kia seem to offer an excellent value proposition. As someone only halfway through paying off his college debt I applaud you for being able to provide like that for your daughter.

Let's see pics (of the car)!

Yep. I purchased a new 2017 Santa Fe XL Limited for my wife. Saved over $5,000.00 verses ToyoHonda.

Just love the 6 cylinder 3.3. -290 HP-REALLY moves it along.

It's at 22,000 miles thus far with no issues.

I could have afford any vehicle in it's class.

My mom will be looking for a newer vehicle soon, and the Tucson is my pick for her, but she really likes the Soul.
I actually bought a 2004 Tucson when they first came out. It was an OK vehicle, but was a little small for our needs at the time. Only had it for about 18 months.

Nice, we have had good luck with Hyundai/Kia's in the family all achieving high mileage. My Santa Fe was really good to me. (See signature)

Enjoy!

Nice! I considered Hyundai for my CUV needs as well, but went a different route. I think the Tucson model like yours looks really good.

one of the things that sold me me on a hyundai besides the price was the warranty and road hazard. 5 year road hazard standard. less for me to worry about with my daughter
