The Bosch was run for 5200 miles on the Grand Prix. The ACDelco for 5000 on the Malibu.

Surprised to see them still made by Purolator, since Bosch pulled out of the company.

Ok good to Know, I have a 2013 Malibu 2LT with the 2.5 ecotec and been using the PF64 . I had a 04 GTP like yourself but lost it in hurricane sandy I miss that car and the power

Bosch divested their half ownership of Puro US as few years back, as they did several other companies during the same time frame. But they've seen fit continue to send their US filter biz to their former Puro US partner, Mann&Hummel. Both German based companies, might be factor. Just speculating.

For the BP, pleating could be better in the one pic. That said, looks to have held up for the ~5k oci.

As for the ACDelco, what I'll refer to as the 'made for GM vehicles ecore hybrid.' GM specs for newer GM vehicle with filter integral bypass the ecore nylon cage. But uses the Fram style dome end poppet type bypass. No nitrile combo valve for GM. This one looks fine.
