Bosch premium 3323

anyone use/like the bosch filtech premium filters? the black cans? i picked up one for the armada today at AZ while stocking up on some clearanced EDGE FST. i normally run P1's on the Armada but i didnt want to make a second stop on the other side of town to AAP to get one.

what are your thoughts on the bosch filters?

I'm using a Bosch premium one right now, have almost 6k miles on the OC, haven't had any leaks or issues, everyone I've read about using them ere seems to like them, I think they can be a little on the pricey side but that's just MO....

As my sig testifies, I run Bosch Premiums on both of my vehicles. No problems to report. I liked what I read of the (limited) info on the boxes and website. I have picked them up for $7 at AZ IIRC and for $5.xx on Amazon while placing other auto related orders.

Excellent filter that I have used in the past in both of my current vehicles with no problems to report. Basically a PureOne and should have no difficulty going 10k miles.

Here are pictures of one that I'd cut open. I believe it had been in service around 6K miles. Good filter.

thanks guys. i used them 6 years ago on a GST eclipse, however i was curious as to how quality they are now days.

thanks for the pics, the media looks excellent! i will be running this filter along with the EDGE FST 8-10k on the VQ56DE Armada.

What is difference: BD+ vs Bosch Premium?

I'm not sure if they have the D+ in the UK (heck, I can't find them here). The D+ is supposed to have higher dirt carrying capacity for extended OCIs, whereas the Bosch Premium is supposed to be more akin the the Purolator Pureone (which I can't get here, either, although I can get Bosch Premiums). Of course, many European applications use a German Bosch, which precludes the Bosch Premium/Bosch Distance Plus difference altogether.
