I need a downstream O2 sensor for my Scion. I can get a Bosch locally but would need to order a Denso. Is the Bosch sensor a decent quality part?

A Bosch O2 sensor is a good part for a car that came with a Bosch O2 sensor. I'm with @Chris142 , wait for the OEM part.

I definitely agree with the others here. Wait for the Denso for your Scion. I put Bosch on where they were original equipment but otherwise I don't use them.
Since you're going to have to wait a day or so for the Denso I'd go to Rockauto and save 50% or thereabouts over a local box store.

Get a Denso. My experience using a Bosch O2 sensor I posted on years ago:
When it comes to Bosch for OEM it is good, but I have not seen a good track record of Bosch O2 Sensors for the aftermarket. Although they do seem to be stepping up in quality.
I always recommend going OEM when possible so go with Denso, as long as it is not an A/F sensor it will not do any harm waiting.

What does your car come with? Most likely Denso or NTK. If you can check what you have and compare with online data, buy the same one.
Wait for Denso
Scion is Toyota which is Denso.
I have also seen NTK but never Bosch
Honda-experience from below, wait for Denso.

Sounds like I should wait for the Denso. That will give me time to give it a good soaking with Kroil anyway.
