Bosch oil filters

I've never used them. How would you rate them compared to a Napa Gold or Pureone? Kragen has them BOGO, so I was thinking of getting some if they are decent.

I think they are made by purolator. And they have the silicon ADBV. BOGO huh? Whats the limit?

The regular Bosch (cheaper ones) are similar to AC Delco, STP, Purolator Premium Plus or Motorcraft. The Bosch Premium filters are similar to Purolator Pure Ones and Napa Golds.

Ive only ever seen the premium ones. Didnt even know they had a regular line.

I think that the Bosch non-premium line has been phased out in the US, though there may still be stock floating around.

The Bosch usa website used to describe both the standard and Bosch Premium oil filters, but now it only has the Bosch Premiums. There was also a time when Bosch Premium was only sold at Autozone, but that has changed as well.

The Kragen deal is a good one!

Yes these were the premiums. I see now they are made by champion labs. I'll give them a try.

They're made by Purolator now, clear as day. I picked up four BOGO free at Checker.

I think the older ones were Champion - before Bosch bought the Purolator company. The newer ones are Purolators.

I only buy the purolator ones as on my truck the champions
gave me startup clatter even at relatively warm weather starts. I'll check as that may be just champions w/ nitrale valve seal but I never had the same with puralators with black nitrale.
