Fused iridium and platinum center electrode

If you're looking for the very latest in spark plug technology, look no further than Bosch Platinum Ir Fusion. Fusion features a patented, fused iridium and platinum center electrode, combined with exclusive surface air gap firing technology to produce a longer, more powerful spark. Its four yttrium-enhanced ground electrode design outperforms OE iridium plugs by significantly reducing gap wear. This means less stress on the ignition system for quicker starts, more efficient fuel combustion, and a longer performance life. In addition, Fusion's voltage requirement increases less over time versus other iridium plugs for longer reliable performance of the vehicle's ignition system.

Bosch plugs?
"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me"
I don't intend on being fooled again by Bosch. Once with the Platinum +4 was more than enough.

From what I have read, if your car likes them, they run a long time. If your car hates them, you will know soon enough. If the plugs are easy to change on your own then try them out if you want.

My car seems to like Bosch plugs just fine. Runs smoother and better than with the OEM NGK ( I know I know sacrilege)

You may recall in othert posts of mine that I just installed a set of the IR Fusions in my GM 6.0L truck. Well, so far I've only put 1200 miles on them but so far they are doing well. Idle is smooth, runs smooth all around. No power increase, not that I was expecting any from a sparkplug change. If they give me long life than I am happy. Gas mileage does not seem to have improved any.

Once again, if the car calls for this type of plug stock, then they will work OK.
But it is really iffy if they will work well for other applications.

Of special concern is the 'waste spark' ignition found on may cars.
2 plugs fire at once in SERIES- neg to pos, and pos to neg.
Odd designs are not the best for this.
