Bosch Distance Plus: run it or cut it?

Hello BITOG faithful. I bought the last Bosch Distance + 3325 for my Camry for 50cents. Made March 1, 2017 and 2nd shift and Line "E"

Should I run it for 2 5k oci's? Or should I cut it open?

I’d run a blue D+, no problems with those except price. If it is black I’d be afraid of what else they changed...

Use it and see what happens. How many torn distance plus filters have there been reported? I can't recall seeing any myself.

Since its that fresh I'd use it!!!!!!!!

I used to pay top price for those to use, same number. Lucky find. Excellent heavily built filter one of the best in that particular size, IMO. I think the H is 2016.

The louvers look properly open, and the D+ doesn't tear, so I think it's safe to use. But I'd still only run it for one OCI

Wish I had found some of those. Only found one that will work on my vehicles, and it was $5.

Run it and don't worry about it.
