This filter was given to me by a friend who sold his car and no longer needed the filter. The only thing it fits is my lawn tractor which I have a decent supply of Wix for, so I decided to just cut it open.

This is a Bosch 3330 which crosses to a Wix 51348.

This filter seemed pretty decent. No tears in the media. Are the Bosch filters basically the same as the Pure One still?

Had to look up what application this filter is, it is the shorty version of the 7317/14610/3323Bosch, the 6607/14612 application. Though the proof of the pudding is in the use here, this one looks good. And yes, BP and P1 are for all intents and purposes, clones.

Made November 2013.

Yes, Bosch is the same as the P1 but without the awesome textured grip.

Bosch 3330 = PL10241

Someone else on here said that a wide V-spead around the seam correlates to tearing, so that Bosch of yours probably would've torn if put into service.

I think that date code F11E06B2 translates to November 6, 2013

Can't they make a filter with evenly spaced pleats? Glued seam or crimped, I wouldn't use those. To much chance for the pleats to flex and weaken.
