Boron & Calcium question.

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra w/5.3L V-8,running Amsoil ASL. I sent an oil sample to Blackstone, all the numbers are below universal averages except Boron 187 & Calcium 3077. Blackstone said all looked good. Oil was changed at 5095 miles.

What do these numbers mean?

Calcium is a cleaning agent in oil and boron is an additive. You OK

Yep, Id be happy with high Ca and B

Those are good things added to the oil, not stuff from engine wear or leaks.
