Problem with the NGAD is the same as the F22. It's a deterrent and so valuable tech wise we can't afford to risk losing one behind enemy lines. It's too advanced to sell to others as well. There are ZERO other 5th gen fighters in the world. The US is very far ahead of everyone in this aspect. It's not about processing power withing the aircraft, though this thing is going to be a monster and made with modularity in mind like the F35, but materials used. The US has spent billions and decades doing research and it's why no one else can get close. However, all it takes is one new tech to change it all. Biggest fear is dumping all this money into something and some new tech, like noise monitoring or vision based, coming out to change everything.
