Has anyone built steps on the tongue area of their (bass-style) boat trailer?

I've got a 2016 Ranger Reata 190LS. I am wanting to build steps on it....

Want to step up or a wider surface on the square tubing … ?
On one of my boat trailers - I coated a plank of 3/4” x 6” wide oak with varathane - attached - stuck the grip stuff on that …
I could walk from the boat to truck bed like that … Dry !

I have seen a few trailers with a grated walkway down the length of the trailer.

It's hard to build things for a trailer that would stand up to salt water. Easier to buy what you need.

My trailer has yet to go in the water. If the boat needs to go on the trailer it gets lowered onto the trailer with straps.

The welders at work had some slack time so they built these for me. The trailer tongue is very short and already had the winch post and a spare tire holder on it so I had to do some ciphering to get a design that would work. I looked at what was for sale but I didn't think that those would work and the price was ridiculous. All I had to do was put the non-skid tape on the steps and mount it to the trailer. They did an exceptional job for me and it makes it so much safer getting in and out of the boat. Previously I had a store bought step that made it easier getting in and out but it looked like I was a gymnast doing floor exercises and I was worried about my dismount.
