BMW Brake Fluid Level?

In my BMW the manual says to have my Brake fluid between the Min and Max. I filled it over the Max. Is it safe? Thank you

it might spill out. The caps are vented.

Probably but I'd just take some out if you are concerned.

The brakes will still work fine. But you do run the risk with temperature changes, that it could overflow, and you don't want brake fluid getting spilled, and eating the paint off your car.

Get a large syringe and a short length of 1/8 dia tubing, and suck out enough bring the brake fluid down to the correct level.
