Blue SuperTech?

Were the blue ones still made by Champion Labs?

I was at Wal-Mart last night picking up some oil, and the only SuperTech filter they had for my application was one that had been on the shelf for some time. Instead of the black case, it was a blue case with a label affixed to it. Construction looked similar to the other SuperTechs I've seen, I even took out another black SuperTech to compare.

Any idea if it is the same filter, just a different color?

The blue-cased STs are the design prior to the black-cased filters. The functional difference is that "blues" use a paper filter medium. "Blacks" were improved with a paper/synthetic blend filter medium.
