I was recently playing around with an EJ25 (so we all know the outcome) but thought I'd point out the block testers are kinda difficult to read -- or at least it was for me.
Also, I realize the accuracy of these is questionable and even hotly debated in some circles. If you want a hot debate....well, I don't care that much.
Take note of how the fluid begins:
I swore I saw the fluid become lighter during the test, but it still has a light blue hue to the eye. It's supposed to turn yellow if positive. I found using a light helped to show contrast to the naked eye.
I'm gonna call this positive for combustion gases:
There are other things to back up my finding, although I didn't bother with a leak down. Basically I personally wouldn't rely solely on this, but used it as a sanity check to confirm my conclusion based on other things.
