Sounds like a great idea. I think "Bob" and "Mary" in India would be good at clearing up such issues.

Said it before: tort reform. We need some help with this system.
 
I love this thread,and would make it a sticky...

however tort reform only makes insurance companies rich...the front end still pays the same...genuinely injured parties GTH
 
I wonder though if competition from abroad and an old owner just sick of all gave up.I know a few older medical professionals (Drs) who walked off simply due to insurance and related headaches.

Too bad the little girl had to pay for her fathers stupidity with her young life. Likewise, HE is now minus a little girl and he's compensating by blaming it on the gas can manufacturer! What about the refiners responsibility for making gas vapor. . . explosive!

Walked through the local Walmart yesterday and I noticed that they don't have any more Blitz gas cans on the shelf. The new ones that they now sell have a Briggs & Stratton paper label on the can, has the B&S name molded into the plastic can itself, but is made by some other company (name escapes me now), I believe out of Illinois.
I guess the next law suit will bankrupt both Briggs & Stratton and the actual company who makes the cans. Either that, or B&S has a larger staff of lawyers on hand to defend themselves.
 
well the blitz cans are garbage so what do they expect. They have the old "self venting" cans that don't vent but instead blow the cap off and spill all over the place when it tips over in the back of the truck. Then you have the "revised" spill proof nozzles they made where half goes in the tank you're filling and the other half somehow leaks out and spills once again all over the place.
 
I wonder if that plant in Oklahoma also makes their plain old drain pans? I have two of them and while they're a bit flimsy when holding over 5 quarts, they're the best "modern" drain pans I've used.

I better get down to the store and buy a few spares before you hoarders get them.
