Blackstone vs. Oil Analyzers PP Euro-L 5W-30, 5175 miles, '19 Pilot 67k miles

My wife's '19 Pilot that is short tripped about 2 miles each way, 5 days week. Also does some longer trips but mostly the short trips.

Most of the test results are close except that Oil Analyzers did the GC for fuel dilution. Big difference and the respective comments.

Based on first Blackstone report and knowing the use was why I bumped up a grade and reduced OCI to ~5k.

Good results all things considered. Still a 30 grade too with fuel dilution.

Blackstone's viscosity is over a point lower, and fuel dilution is over 4x lower. Other than that, they are pretty similar. The wear metals look good on both reports!

The sad part is that you need to make sure you list or call to have the GC done for fuel. I had same thing with sample from Tucson that I could smell fuel. Blackstone tested that at 3.8% fuel but the Oil Analyzers = <1 - Estimate. Like these all the rest of test results were very close including viscosity only being off by .1
