I have used Blackstone since at least 2002. Their turn around time is usually, send and forget. How are other labs like, OAI (Amsoil affiliate) I mean, it’s not critical but, it’s been at least 3 weeks.

I've only used Blackstone and OAI. You already know BS. OAI is typically one week including shipping. I drop my sample with UPS on Monday, it delivers by Wednesday, I get results by Friday.

I switched from Blackstone to Wearcheck, because the Wearcheck analysis is more sophisticated, they have a really good portal, and the turn around time, like clock work, is about 3 days from when they get the sample. To me, is the difference between Blackstone and Wearcheck is night and day.

OAI (Horizon) is good and has been like 7 days for me the last two times, but the web portal is hilariously bad.
Did they email you telling you the result was ready, or did you have just to log in every day to see if they did it? I got the big time-sensitive email to register, yet it's been a week and so far nothing.

They usually email but you can check with the number on the label in case there was an issue and they can't tie the sample number to your account.

I sent 2 samples (oil + DSG/trans) on 11/5 to BS. They received 11/7. Their tracking shows it's "testing" on 11/11. That's pretty good...hopefully next week I'll get results. Maybe they are reading this.

OAI (Horizon) just received my sample on Monday morning and I just got the results this afternoon. Super fast, don't think I'd use Blackstone again.

Just found this thread.... Asking because I've sent my sample in over a month ago and it looks like they just received it... Really?

Sheesh.... I never had this much of a delay in the past. Hmmmmm...
