I’d bought a bunch of these off eBay for $11 each. For those that have used CAT Thompson what’s had the turn around time been like? They send you an email I take it? I’m starting to wonder if I’m going to ever hear back from them. It’s been a few weeks.

What is a CAT Thompson UPA kit?
It's all going to depend on the individual lab. CAT has labs all over. Call them & ask. I will say eBay kits are a gamble on if the company stands behind them or not.
Never heard that but 1) how would they know and 2) what makes you say that? Is it against some terms? If so I’ll file a claim and return them.
My recent experience is some Schaeffer's kits I bought from eBay. You must go through a dealer network since I wanted to add GC Fuel testing. The main Schaeffers oil manager "Matt" I spoke to on the phone told me straight that these kits I bought from eBay are junk & they'll not stand behind them. Luckily the lab I'm sending them to seem to be processing them. I did end up finding a rep to process the extra $17.33 for GC fuel testing but it was all an eye opener. Buyer beware moment.
Basically, you never really know what your eBay kit comes with for testing. Different test kits may offer more or less. Go and try to alter what was already on your test kit is when you may run into trouble.
Well they were pre labeled with paid shipping to Thompson CAT. Everything sealed. Their own kits. I figured they’d still be good.
Any kit I’ve ordered has just been a shipping labeled envelope and small plastic container. These appear to be official from CAT based on their packaging and labeling with branding.
