I have been using Zaino for the last 3 years and on a whim bought a 16oz bottle of Blackfire wet diamond after hearing great reviews and I have to say it was one of the easiest sealants to apply and remove I have ever used! I applied two coats to my winter beater (98 grand cherokee) and all I can say is WOW!

I think BFWD will be my new go to sealant!

It's first on my list to try --- once I used up my existing stash. I've never read a bad thing about it. Thanks for the review.

I have heard it has great durability from the reviews on autopia and a few on autogeek. I live in the rust belt and will probably reapply in Late Janurary or Early February (Heated Garage). It is by the slickest sealant I have used (Zaino, Meguiars Polymar sealant, Wolfgang Deep gloss sealant).

Got a quart of the stuff. Very nice sealant, super easy to apply/remove, no dusting.

Does not last as long as Zaino in side-by-side testing. Also needs at least two coats for best looks and durability.

Still, my new go-to sealant. Zaino customers still get the good stuff. Everyone else gets Blackfire.

Have you compared it to the DP Poli-Coat?

No. I don't know anyone that uses DP stuff.

On my neutral color car I like to finish with a glaze and Meg's #26 for the wet look.

I would not call it sterile, but then I love the look of Zaino.

If you like the carnauba look, you probably will not like any polymer sealant. Wax & glaze gives a very different look than a sealant.
