My last BF trip was 4 yrs ago, walked out door, drove to Ace Hdw, bought Radio Flyer red wagon, back home all in ~15 minutes. No expedition for me this year, but if you know of any pending online superdeals on Sandisk brand microSDHC Class 4 in 16 or 32 GB please share! I'm ready to try to root my Nook Color.

Back when PepBoys had free $20 gift cards, I visited 3 different stores and got 3 cards.

I might go to buy some clothes very cheap, but thats about it.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I drove to the nearby Best Buy to see how many morons were camped out in front to get the $199 Sharp 42" LCD screen. There were about a hundred souls in line, and ten 42" LCDs available at that price. I drove right back home.

I have noticed that retailers here have latched onto this black riday nonsense in the last few years. They were losing business to the US retailers, so they responded. As one would expect, suckers are lining up for the "deals."

My plans now include changing my grandmothers oil, and setting up my grandfathers wireless printer. And that's pretty much it. My ex coworkers at best buy (opening at midnight :o) say the line is three times how long it was last year. Sort of glad I don't have to worry about it o_o

on CNN, they interviewed a lady about black "thursday" at Target. she said the employees shouldn't complain about working on Thanksgiving night. she wanted to save money for her family for xmas. everyone should be thankful. pretty wild stuff there.

yeah the guys from the store I used to work for are complaining about basically being forced to work a 24 hour shift, and then working again on saturday. It's just a money grab by the Retailers, who once again show they have zero consideration for their employees. But anyone that is surprised by this shouldn't be.

I'm at a coffee shop in NW, and it seems like a normal day, which is nice. I've already seen 2 people I know from Seattle between yesterday and today, which is funny. Guess I'm not the only one with this idea! The big sales must be out at the big box stores or something. Nice town up here!

My wife and I looked through all the sales papers and found a few things that we needed, priced right.

Then we checked online and Amazon had the same stuff for less with free shipping included.

I went out at 4AM, hit Sam's Club for a TV, home to drop off the TV, to Sears to use a coupon for some jeans and a shirt ($30 OTD) and back to Sam's for some stocking stuffers.

The TV was well priced and 24 mo same as cash on the Sam's Discover card was a winner.

Getting ready for a nap now.

My kids went to Best Buy at 6:30 P.M. for the midnight opening, I brought them blankets and a winter hat at 9:30. Then I went to Walmart about 10:30, it was a madhouse so I went home. Got up at 4:30 A.M. this morning to buy a tool box at Home Depot, found out my kids had gotten home at 4 A.M. Glad it wasn't me. Back in bed at 6:11.

Well, you chose a good day to come up here. It had been raining, virtually non-stop, for the past 3-4 days here. Today's sun was a welcome change. Yes, the "sales" are all taking place at the malls, which is good. I don't mind segregation in that case!
