""Black again" & "Back to Black"...opinions?

Have any of you used either/both of these products?

The "back to Black" is a Mother's product, and the "black again" is made by a company called "black-jack"

Compare: mothers BtoB is for plastic/rubber/vinyl trim only,
but the "Black Again" is also meant for flat black paint, and even painted black metal, and is a professional grade product; That's why I'm considering this for restoring the look of some black-metal window trim on the T-bird...

Any feedback on these peoducts is appreciated.

well, back to black is just for plastics, but it does what it does very well.

i've never heard of the other stuff, but hey, it's just money, right?

I have used Black Again with success on my 95 Explorer and 94 Mazda MX6, it is UV activated so it takes a few hours for the sun to bring your trim back to its former glory. Then you will be pleased with the restored color and shine on the old car. The faded gray vinyl trim and black metal trim & roof rack on the Explorer look almost new aftewards, the stuff seems to last a few months and the Explorer is always parked outside. Two thumbs up.

I've used 'Forever Black' on black plastic trim and wiper arms with good results. It came in a small bottle with a sponge applicator, but I can't remember where I bought it.

I've used tutle wax's "black chrome" with good success.

I've been using Meguires Gold Class Trim Detailer and like it. I tried the Mother's Back-to-Black, but it didn't seem to last. The Meguires seems to last longer between applications.

I have used Black Again for a few years on my old Volvo's. It's good stuff and lasts a long time. I get it from ipd, www.ipdusa.com.

Lemon Fresh Pledge furniture polish works great on black plastics and tires. Underhood, too. Cheap, and it repels dust.

Thanks for all the tips, guys.

after much research, and direct communication with the Einszett (1z)company, I found out that my trim piece is made out of "rubberized aluminum" and I've ordere their vinyl/rubber care product, which has some amazing reviews on Autopia.

"Forever Black" at EASTWOODS.

Have used it on JEEP exterior trim and it has held up well in hotternhell North Texas. After 1.5 years could use again, but still looks better than before application.

Back To Black is good stuff and not a coloring agent. It's white and works on any color plastic trim, like gray.
