I like others have had this problem for awhile. I tried and unchecked "remember me" and it seems to work better. I use LASTPASS so it handles my userid and password anyway so I really do not need BITOG to remember.
Me too...but it only happens with IE...so, I just use Chrome for BITOG and it works perfectly...I don't know enough about software to understand how to fix the settings in IE...
Only happens with IE for me. Using Chrome to login to bitog. But I've been having problems with IE, since the windows 8.1 update. I don't like windows 8 at all. Give me windows 7 back at least for a laptop or desktop any day.

I love LastPass. I was just turned on to it last summer and now weaving between different sites is a breeze. It makes functioning on the WWW a lot simpler and quicker.
I have noticed this lately too. I thought it was maybe related to Chrome Sync, but even with that disabled it is still happening. My username and password are remembered, but I will need to login. Perhaps the cookie is expiring?
I did it to me too. I use IE. What worked for me was setting my security settings in my antivirus to their highest. Hasn't done it since.
For IE users, go to Internet Options/Privacy/Advanced/check "override automatic cookie handling"/check "block third-party cookies"/okay/apply/ok. Log off then back on to IE.
Click start. In the search box type, %temp% select temp and delete everything. Note: you may have one or two things that will not delete. That's fine. You can do the same with 8/8.1 but I'm not by one right now and I don't remember off the top of my head how to do it. It's not hard.
Yep, I usually (always?) leave "remember me" on the sites I visit, and lately BITOG requires me to keep logging in. Wouldn't be a major issue but it will occasionally show all threads on a sub as being read, and I don't always remember which ones I've read and where I've left off.

That doesn't fix it.
I'm still thinking it has to do with the cookie expiring or something like that.
