How long was the outage?
It's actually good. Makes one appreciate what they have.Any downtime is too long.
I have my not pleased face on this morning.
We still don't know what happened at our hosting provider. We lost connectivity, but our server and data were not affected.

Now that made me laugh! Yes, that's how I looked this morning.
I was on at the same time and had the same experience.I was on about 1230am edt and things started to get a little slow in loading.. Within about 10 minutes on this forum it came out with a "Cloudfare" warning saying that it could not connect to host which is BITOG's site. After that it just wouldn't load. @wwillson I thought I'd share what happened. Might not make a difference but thought you'd like to know.
I thought you were upgrading the site and had to take it down.. now I see it's not that..
That was the exact site I used to make sure my internet provider wasn't having issues.. But you're right, a lot of people might not know a site like that exists! good to mention it!We need a back up site that could inform users that bitog is down so people don't think it's something on their end. I checked here this morning but not everybody knows about it.

Exactly, if one site out of many doesn't load, move on and just check later. Worst case, try and connect using a smart phone or a computer on another network and if it's still down, it's not you. When other sites are working, I just assume its an issue with that particular site, and not an issue on my end.
You are not a donor, and you contribute no money, and yet here you are making a request/suggestion that costs money. We need a back up site that could inform users that bitog is down so people don't think it's something on their end. I checked here this morning but not everybody knows about it.
