Bisteak Taco- had to google

Super hungry and stopped at Allsups for some nasty processed food.

In the parking lot was a Mexican food trailer. Looked at the menu for tacos and walked away, as all they had were bisteak or pastor tacos.

I don’t know what bisteak or pastor is, all I wanted was carne asada/ beef tacos. Went into Allsups and decided to google bisteak before ordered the processed reheated gas station food.

Google returned bisteak is a fancy name for Mexican beef steak street tacos.


Sometimes google is worth the effort. Young lady who took my order said come back in ten minutes for the bisteak tacos I ordered. No other customers, so food made to order.

Here are the bisteak tacos. Just the way I like them.

Yup, Bistek or Pastor are the way to go. Pastor with pineapple. Bistek with Onion, Cilantro, & Lime (add Avocado if you're feeling fancy).

Simple, flavorful, and comfort food-esque.
