Picked up a $50 battery sprayer (was using a Marolex) and used Bilt Hamber Touch-Less on a very dirty truck.

No contact wash, just spray, rinse and drive off. BH TL is usually in the top 3 among all pre-washes, most of the time being the #1 favorite.

If I had more time I would have liked to have compared another product to it. Something like Gyeon Foam etc. From what I've read though BH TL cleans the best.

Looks great especially as a touchless wash, thanks for posting. Also, I was not aware Bilt Hamber was distributing in the US. Had tried some of their products many years ago but then they became difficult to source without international shipping.

Did a fantastic job but at what cost? It has to be harsh on the paint and then after cleaning what protection do you have?

I prefer using a sprayer then foam cannon. Marolex or equivalent work fine.

I think it would degrade an LSP overtime. I think BH’s take on this though is that its better to sacrifice the LSP and remove the dirt than to induce swirls and end up removing more clear coat…. They also believe that an LSP should stand up to snow foams. LSP's fail regardless including a majority of overhyped coatings.

I use it also here in NE Pa. It can be a little harsh on some sensitive Waxes. But I’d rather a little LSP degradation over the salt sitting on my paint eating the LSP AND paint away even faster.

OP, have u tried the 3D Super Pre Soak?

I haven't but read it was good. I was going to try it at one time. Labo Primus 2.0 is good too. You can use that as a bucket wash as well.

What was the total amount of water and product did you had to use to clean the entire truck with the sprayer?

This is such a great idea as I cant use a pressure washer at this kind of time.

Based on your posts here your truck is well cared for and the coating on the paint is kept up. This is an ideal use for this product. I imagine the results would be noticeably worse on a "normal" car. I'm actually curious how the truck would have looked with only a pressure wash. That would tell us more about how much work the touchless wash really did.

In my opinion these touchless washes only make sense for a very well kept vehicle. Nothing against the product, but engrained dirt on uncoated paint needs agitation.

There are several videos where they hit the paint with just water/pressure washer and little to nothing comes off vs BH. TL can get the paint roughly 90% clean. My truck sees winter/light off road use, so it comes in handy.

I used 1gal of water with 2oz of TL. Sprayed entire truck. Let it sit for 2-5 mines, rinse. I would normally follow up with a contact wash and dry it the right way.

KC Super Foam is very good. There are others that clean as well but may be a bit more caustic. VDA certified like Labo Primus 2.0. BH, Labo, Garage Therapy, Koch Chemie and a few others are also worthing using.

Awesome. Thanks for the info.

On days that does not snow and the vehicle is very dirty, I usually do 100 ml of BH TL and 500 ml of water in a foam cannon and I would spray and rinse twice then follow by the contact wash.
