Because I made money with them. Also buying a two year old car for less than $5000, and a three year old car with less than 15k miles for around $4000 is a pretty rare opportunity.

I own a dealership. I drive them all but at the end of the day it's food on the table. I'm not in the business of falling in love. That's way too expensive.

Over decades of driving I have owned both big and small vehicles. Just wondering what you all have had from one extreme to the other.

I would say my smallest was either my Datsun B210 or Chevette.

My biggest was probably my Chrysler Grand Caravan.
Biggest Kenworth W900, Cummins ISX, Eaton 18spd.
Smallest Mazda RX7 or RX3, probably 7.

Biggest, 2003 GMC Sierra Crew Cab 6,5 foot bed 4wd pickup

Smallest 1967 Triumph Spitfire for G production class SCCA Sprint races.

Biggest, '76 and '97 Chevy C2500 HD pickups, although the '77 Chrysler Cordoba was close in weight. Smallest, '67, '68, and '69 Datsun 2000 Roadsters.

1970 Toyota Corolla 2-dr, 1200 cc, 4-speed

1969 Chrysler Imperial 4-dr HT, 440 4-bbl, 3-speed automatic

Y'all can figure out which was which.

Biggest: current 2015 GMC Sierra Crew Cab
Smallest: 1961 Austin Healy Sprite or 1973 Fiat 850 Spyder. I think the Sprite was a little smaller than the Fiat.

My smallest a '78 MG Midget, largest '76 Linclon Mark IV. When I owned the Midget I thought I was getting great mileage at 25 MPG. Today nearly any vehicle will exceed 25 MPG. On the other hand I could drive the Mark IV as gently as possible and only get 10 MPG.

Volvo P1800
2500 Silverado 8.1L extended cab 8' bed.

I've owned a couple suburbans, the truck is wider and like 7-8" longer.
