Bigfoot...what do you think?

In all seriousness, it's rather interesting that so many older (Native American, Asian, etc....) cultures have such similar legends/myths of ape men like creatures. I know hard core skeptics will claim it's coincidental or just plain hokey, but......

Kinda like the shared 'flood destroyed the earth' legends shared by many older cultures.

And the UFOs

I found Bigfoot a week ago by accident in Pacific Missouri.

While the idea would be cool, the proliferation of trail cameras and lack of clear pictures to date, makes me think its folklore.

If one is open to the possibility, they seem to be able to either sense cameras, create electromagnetic interference, or exist in some "plane" where they just don't show up on camera.

Again, all that is easily laughed aside by skeptics -- and perhaps rightly so.

For most this is just a bridge too far. I'm willing to consider it, but have no personal experience to believe any of it.

I believe in Bigfoot. Just my thoughts but it seems legitimate. Heck for all we know Bigfoot might have gotten DB Cooper and that’s why we can’t find him lol 😂. He jumped in the woods so probably got him. I don’t see how it could be a myth. What other creature could it be that someone has seen? Maybe I’m just not educated on it but seems very real to me.

Not a BIGFOOT but last week driving west on 166 just about 12 miles east of Independence Kansas at 12:30 in the morning me my son and a employee saw the most erie/scary site ......

A lady with long scraggly gray hair and a long Red bathrobe with no shoes walking in a very strange stance slow and steady on the right hand road stripe in the absolute pitch dark no highway lights no houses in a reasonable distance ........my son moved to the middle of the road as we approached around 65ish mph and she just kept on moving as we passed by

It took us a few seconds to even respond to each other from the shock of it in one of those odd situations where something like that happens we just kinda rolled to a stop no brakes probably about a mile up the road still questioning everything

My son insisted we go back
My employee said to sit right there and wait for her to walk up
Me I said B.S. she is either mentally unstable or it's a trap to jump us as her cohorts rob us for a new worktruck

We settled on getting to Independence and going in person to the police they actually took us seriously

But dude it was pretty strange

Not sure about Bigfoot. I don't really have a problem with it/him as is. He is free to roam or whatever. Now if he comes up into my yard, we got a whole different story.

I've read some fairly creditable stories. Never heard of one in Iowa. Still funny how nobody has captured a clear pic or found remains.
But I remain open. Had a friend in Washington that says she experienced one camping years ago. Who knows, but she never lied to me.

I WAS in a spot once, that gave me an eerie feeling for some reason. It just felt like evil was present. Kind of like being watched, in a sinister way.
We went to a remote grave yard one night, probably 35 years ago. Known for weird things happening there.. Sat on the tailgate of my pickup
and drank beer.

The wind was blowing. It changed directions every few minutes. Came at us from all 4 sides, which was strange. Got the heck out of there.

Also toured the Villisca Axe House Murder place, about one hour drive from here.

You can even rent it for overnight stays, which I declined. I felt dirty just being in that house.

Anything to add?
My house in Collins, IA is/was haunted. We only stayed 2 years and wish we never moved there, for more reasons than that, but it was up there. I was recently told that many houses in that vicinity are haunted. My son wrote a book loosely based on our experience that he titled Collins House. He also has a successful horror story podcast that was originally inspired from the house.

My son also spent time in the Axe Murder house. He said it was eerie and the light balls went off, but it didn’t feel as haunted as claimed. Maybe living in a haunted house affected his tolerance of “haunted.”

In one of his podcasts, Joe Rogan was sure that he was looking at a Big Foot while hunting, he then realized it was just a squirrel.

With our society being saturated with cameras, there should have been at least a dozen solid pieces of footage recorded.

Eye witnesses are the worst witnesses, ask any detective.

I remember being a child and going to the movies to see the Bigfoot documentary movie. It was a big deal back then but it probably was a hoax all along in my opinion. I've spent time in the deep woods of MD, PA, VA and WVA and never saw a thing but we always kept an eye out and our guns close by.
Unless you've ventured deep into the forests of the Rockies and Cascades, you may not have an idea how vast and remote some of these places are. No insult intended but there is no comparison to the woods of the eastern half of the country.

No insult taken and you are correct. I have been to those regions as well but not "deep enough" I'm sure to see one if they actually exist. I like remote but not remote remote lol
