Anyone hear of or know anything about a product called BG 44K? Our mechanic that works on all the city vehicles, has this product. He tells me it is the best additive he has ever seen. But it is only available to fleet services. Not sold on civilian market. What is it? Whats in it?

It is a great product, contains PEA and is developed by a very committed company.

You can get it on eBay for about $13/can shipped in bulk.

Apparently it may have PEA in it.
My concern is why don't they tell us so? Why is it not proclaimed and bragged about? Why is it not on the can?

In any event, is it a strong cleaner.
For in tank use, I'd go with Strong Chevron Techron instead.

Ironically Techron products dont list PEA as an additive.

I work for a dealership that deals extensively in bg products. Based on conversations with the company and their reps, I know for a fact that the product contains high levels of PEA. BG 44k is definitely one of the most potent fuel additives available. It is advised only to use 44k every 15,000 miles. The step down in the BG line is CF5, which works great as a fuel stabilizer, and is used at every oil change interval.

im guessing if they list it out and the concentration is lower than the competitions product, they will just be doing the competition a flavor LOL

I stick with my known PEA % additives.

red line si-1 contains alot more..per bg..when iasked bg he said 44k does have pea in it ..when i told him redline has 35-50% he said thats alot more then 44k has
