The cans of BG 44K I have say they treat up to 20 gallons. What do you guys think is the "best" ratio?

My Nissan has a 20 gallon tank. Our VUE has a 16 gallon tank. Should I put the can in an empty tank and fill it, or do something like 15 gallons? Or won't it matter one bit?

Just wondering if more fuel going through the system with a more diluted mixture will clean better, or if less fuel with a more concentrated mixture will.

I would try for 15-16 gallons in each. Gas gauges are not all that accurate and the BG company has to allow for idiots out there who can barely read and do math.

The Techron I get at Sams (4 pack) is for up to 12 gallons so I try and do 1/2 tank on my Jeep with a 20 gallon gas tank.

you have to try it yourself imho.

some engines dont benefit at all from gas additives.(my friend's bike SI-1 just does not benefit it at all)

Some like my bike does a ton due to engine design
(it uses ALOT of gasoline for cooling its valves and combustion chamber , leading to much more deposits)

Try a power dose, drive till near empty then try a minimum dose

if you feel the same level of "benefits" , just stick to the munimum dose

of you can feel a difference , stick to the power dose

ps. power dose for me is 2X the minimum dose

I just dumped a can of 44k in my 2011 4Runner Trail Edition and I just looked at my miles to empty and then my avg mpg and figured out that I had about 10 gallons left in my tank so I added 9 more just to give me a one gallon buffer

I don't expect to see or feel any difference, it's more of just a preventative maintenance thing that I'll do every 35,000 miles or so
