This one is very interesting. It is one of the tires I was checking for VW Atlas, but abysmal wet performance in tests that is on par with BF Goodrich Advantage T/A Sport LT, which I have on Honda, and is absolute junk in wet, kept me away from this tire.
I hope + means they improved wet performance. The tire looks the same, which means the compound has changed.

only thing I could find
"High-levels of silica in tread yield 10% better wet traction than previous models."

So probably still middle of the pack for wet.. instead of abysmal?

Maybe. We will see. New Advantage Sport are improvement in tests but nothing to brag about. Old ones are dead scary in braking and handling in wet.
So, probably similar improvement.

The cheap Douglas tires that replaced the Advantage TA Sports on our van did far far better in wet.

I mean, it is really not hard to beat that performance. Considering they are a Michelin brand, it is hard to understand why such atrocious wet performance.
We will see what happens with Trail Sport. I hope they sorted it out.

Over the years I've bought a ton of BF Goodrich tires. They performed better at $60-$100 a tire.

Perfect timing for my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4.
265/75R16, hope they make that size!
Considering that size was SUPER popular for a decade, I'm thinking it's a near certainty they make it.

I saddens me to see the relentlless push torwards heavier and larger wheels all the time pure for styling and for no other reason at all. When does it stop? When even economy cars and EVs are wearing 24s?

The old Traction T/A wasnt half bad in the wet… 20 years ago. Unfortunately I’ve never really found BFG tires in general to do well in the rain. Last time i owned a set was in the late teens. We didn’t keep them long.
