Better ramps than Blitz ramps?

Today I was going to do a filter change on the Prius. Well turns out the snow on my tires were a bit slippery and they slid off the ramps (before I got under there thank God). The right ramp was destroyed and the car was at a tilt. Tried to remove the other ramp and after lots of struggling I got both ramps from underneath the car. Needless to say they are no longer safe to use!

I had these ramps for the better part of 2 years. Are there better ramps out there for under $60 a pair? Just curious, thanks.

+1 for Rhino ramps...I've had mine for years and they are still solid.

I had a pair of Rhino Ramps, and I did like them.

One day I put the Accord on them and the one cracked. It was still safely supporting the weight of the car, but the crack scared me.

Rhino are good.

But what slipped? The car or ramp? You got the vehicle up on the ramp with engine off and it slipped off? It went to far and off the ramp? Slipped back down? Sideways?

I have had the ramps move as my tire was starting to go up the ramp.

I use 12K Rhinos, they work great for our small cars. Purchased on sale from AAP.

I've had good experience with my 12K Rhinos.
I bought them shortly after buying the BMW and giving its first oil change in my hands.
One change without ramps was enough, although all you need to get to from the bottom is the drain plug.
They have probably forty oil and tran fluid changes on them to date and are great to have for the Hondas and the Focus. You don't need ramps to change the oil on the Forester or the Legacy wagon we recently bought.
FWIU, these ramps are not really suited to cold weather use, since the plastic becomes brittle in real cold.
That's fine, since I've gottten old and wise enough to plan oil changes for above freezing temperatures.
