Changed a fuel pump accessible from the interior and between taking it out and putting it back in quite a few times, I spilled gas on the interior floor and carpet so the inside reeks of gas. So did my kitchen where I rebuilt it, but that odor isn't so strong. Besides just keeping the doors open to air it out, any other suggestions? Would an ozone machine do anything?

In my experience I've found ti virtually impossible to eliminate a gasoline smell. When I R&R'd the fuel pump in my E-type Jag I spilled maybe a tablespoon of gasoline inside the trunk area. The floor of it had the factory, glued on sound deadening material. I never fully eliminated the smell, even 2 or 3 years later.

Google says equal parts baking soda, vinegar and hot water followed by some Fabreze.
Baking soda = alkaline
vinegar = acid

Mix together you have a near neutral cleaning liquid.

Febreze applied now gives you 2 unwanted smells.

I would use Dawn or Purple Power Degreaser and a washmit. Use the suds only and blot away. Shop vac it up. Might take several cleanings. Or get some upholstery cleaner.

Broken up charcoal on top of newspaper will soak up any smell. It needs to be left in a few days.
