Who is recommending 303 lol? Id say it's one worst products out there. For interior it has it's place but exterior be careful! On grey plastic it works best but on black watchout! My jeep liberty crd has grey plastic and looks ok but all black air fan area new front windsheild YUKKY. Looks old and whitish. Take my word on 303 please, ive used everything I mean everything. Peanut butter oil or that oil paint thinner (pentrol?) work on fender flares pretty good or armor all, meguires stuff, vinylex

I've had good results with 303 on black exterior plastic. You need to remove the old wax and other crud first because 303 won't cover that up. If you don't want to go to the trouble of actually removing the problem, then peanut butter and other miracle cures will do a better job of hiding the problem.

Ditto on that. For even better results I use tire gel on all of my exterior plastics. Since it is gel based it lasts longer through rain showers & car washes. Super results with Meguiars tire gel and Armor All's.

I've used a few different products on my Expedition. The best in my opinion is VRP dressing from Chemical Guy's. You don't have to rub it in hard like some stuff. You just wipe it on and you'll be amazed how great it looks. If your like me, you'll apply a second coat even though it doesn't really need it.
VRP makes my grey panels look really dark and it last's a long time. I've been washing my Expedition every 2 to 3 months and I reapply after I wash and it looks good enough I don't really need to.

Buy a 1 gallon jug and a squirt bottle. It should last you for years.

I've heard of some stuff called Refinish Restorer (or something like that). I've read that body shops use it. It's strong with chemicals so you can't use it inside on the dash but it's supposed to be last for years. I'd like to hear some more reviews before I try it though.

Lots of love here as well for Lexol.

303 is [censored]. Don't waste your money on it. It's ridiculous how people rant and rave about 303.

Use some Mothers back to black.

I know exactely what lucerne06 is talking about. And too, I can't think of any product that only works for awhile. What the grey panels on lucerne06 PONTIAC Vibe needs is to be repainted and there are some pretty good DIY products on the market that will actually do a better job that the "Shine Products" that others are mentioning here.

The area of the greay panels need to be stripped of wax/grease/oil and shine products. Preped, primed and repainted. It's not a difficult job but, like painting anything, you must first mask off the rest of the vehicle.

I recently did a Caravan front bumper where the bumper cover was starting to fade and also had wind waves in it from high speeds. I cleaned it, used a clear primer/activator and reshot the bumper only giving the bumper a fine dusting to cover well. No need to apply heavy coats.

Of course in a couple of years to come, it will need another coating. Looked great! Whole job only took about an hour.
