Best store-available headlight bulbs?

I just had a silverstar headlight burn out after 3+ years of use. I have been working nights for 2 years, so it is almost 100 percent headlight use.
I switched to the Xtra vision, no change in vision. The new bulbs actually seem a little brighter than the 3 year old bulbs that I replaced.

I'm sure the Xtravision would seem brighter than even a NEW Silverstar, because it probably is. As you know, the Silverstar is a blue-tinted bulb, and actual light output is generally less than non-tinted bulbs. You did the right thing by upgrading those Silverstars to Xtravisions (despite Sylvania's best marketing efforts).
