I got so used to driving with my factory HID on my G35, when i drove my father's older maxima it looked like the headlights weren't even on.

I've polished up and cleaned up the lenses already. The headlights looked like they were properly adjusted but i'll check that after i getting new bulbs.

I've been very impressed with the Synvania SilverStar Ultra bulbs I got for my headlights and fog lights on my SC300. They are a bit expensive, and, well, kinda prone to failure, from what I read online, because they have to burn so hot. But they put out nice light.

Look into newer headlights that don't use a 9004. The output of a 9004 is horrible, and any pricey bulbs will get you up to maybe 750 lumens on low beam, and 1300 on high beam. In short, they're by far the worst bulbs available.

Or throw a HID projector retrofit in there. New headlamps off of Ebay are cheap, good HID stuff is inexpensive, and retrofitting isn't that hard to do.

9004 are pretty poor. Try GE Night Hawk or Philips Vision Plus, check aim, and maybe add some relays.
