THe breakin is almost done on my rebuilt 426 Hemi Challenger & I'm running Valvoline 10/40. Its 10:1, Diamond pistons, Manley rods, Kellog crank, ported Iron heads & has the best in bearings, rings & machine work. I've been told after 5K miles, to run synthetic, but think dino oil is best. What brands have the most zinc & is that important for performance & life? I've heard Rotella T doesn't have good anti-foaming properties. I don't intend to race it (except once in a while on the street), but the summer temps here in Reno are in the 90's to 100. Thanks for the input & this is a fantastic site. Glad I stumbled upon it.
