Right. Another words, each one of us can come up with our own best 5 oil brands, and it'll be just as good/informative.

For me personally, it's not as much about brands as it is about specific products within each brand. Most brands contain a mix of products: some good, some bad, some just average, possibly depending on one's application.

Exactly. Considering I don't follow Microsoft's advice when it comes to operating systems, I'm sure as [censored] not going to listen to much of what they say when it comes to oil.
 
Ya know I first started driving in '88 and I always used why my favorite race car driver supposedly used. I was a big Rick Mears fan so I used Pennzoil. Lol how's that for scientific?
