Its just a list of the most popular in tv ads. Doesnt mean any of them are the best.

Right. Another words, each one of us can come up with our own best 5 oil brands, and it'll be just as good/informative.
For me personally, it's not as much about brands as it is about specific products within each brand. Most brands contain a mix of products: some good, some bad, some just average, possibly depending on one's application.

Hands down Amsoil or RP would be the top ones there.
None of my turbocharged vehicles has ever used any oil.......

Ya know I first started driving in '88 and I always used why my favorite race car driver supposedly used. I was a big Rick Mears fan so I used Pennzoil. Lol how's that for scientific?
