Here is a list of ones with some level of value in regards to PEA, afaik:

Amsoil Pi
Red Line SI-1
BG 44K
Techron
Regane (any Gumout Regane product)
Valvoline's Fuel System Cleaner
3M Fuel System Cleaner

That's a short list...

Bottle good for 35 gallons.....so I get two uses ...out of one bottle....for my 14 gallon tank.

Wholeheartedly agree. I was able to get 5 of the "All in One" bottles and 32 of the High Mileage Regane bottles over the past 2 months. Also got 7 of their Professional 2 Step Fuel System Cleaners.

Can you explain this little bit? Were you able to do before and after tests?

No problem Vikas. This spring I installed new plugs in my 2008 Honda Ruckus (50cc) andmy 1986 Honda Elite 250 (250cc). Also changed the oil. I flashed my light into the spark plug holes and spun the piston around to the top and both were black. Not only black, but fairly rough looking. Uneven. Like the carbon had deposited roughly....leaving little spikes and valleys. Almost what asphalt looks like.

I ran some big doses on Regane 2X HM in several tank fulls (I think 4 tanks worth in each, which is 8 gallons total in the 250cc and 4 gallons total in the 50cc scooter. This is about 400 miles on each scooter. The oil changed pretty dark real quick in both as well. Since neither nearly hold any oil at all, I change the oil all the time (each less than a quart). Usually every 500-700 miles. Never over 700 miles.

I changed the oil and removed the spark plug. The old 250cc scooter still had a black piston top, but it was smooth, there was no build up on it. Just color. The 50cc scoot had a little black on the piston and some shiny metal, and zero build up on the piston top. The Regane cleaned it all right up. Both scoots run a little rich for longevity reasons and fuel diltion is the main reason I change their oil all the time.

The "trick" is, I used a 1/2 bottle for each 2 gallon tank full inthe 250cc and a 1/3 bottle for each 1 gallon tankful in the 50cc. Big doses.

I used to always use Seafoam in my tanks and it worked well for me, but I decided to venture out and try Chevron Techron and it seemed to help so far...Ive only done one tank and cant confirm yet but I think I may stick with that for now...usually I try to find stuff on sale anything that costs less than 5.00 per tankful is about what I get.

So how does everyone quantify if the Cleaner worked?

I have used the old Amsoil PI for years 1 ounce per tank, new PI, Techron, all the Gumouts etc but to be truthful, I just add a bottle a couple tankfuls before I change the oil, maybe once or twice a year.

I cant comment as to which is best because my cars ran fine before and after? Does the additive do anything, would it matter if I never used it?

I have a large stock of the Gumout regane, fuel system cleaners etc from Big lots so I will continue to use that until its gone.

Rather than big doses diluted in the tank there are cheaper ways to get the same or better results. Use it as a piston soak. Not sure how you would do the equivalent of a brake booster, using a sprayer bottle into the carb may do the trick.

With these tiny CV (constant velocity) carbs, this would have been hard. Plus, both engines are horizontal.....meaning their piston movement is parallel to the ground....hard to do a soak.
I was worried about breaking off any chunks in these TINY engines. Out would take nothing to clog up any oil passage....so I wanted to slowly burn it off.

Just my rake and approach, since these are NOT car engines. Their single piston is smaller than a 4 banger's intake valve.

Tilt the bike for the soak!. JK. Yeah, figured as much. With a small tank capacity I suppose its not such a costly endeavor to flood the tank.

I'm going to add to the pile of products

I've used Amsoil PI, seemed to help
Currently Trying out Schaffers Nutra, This stuff smells god awful hope it works out.
