Ford guys will probably say that pop up handrail for getting into a bed of their trucks. Some GM products had the front seat that swiveled sideways for ingress and egress. Mopar's way back had an in dash record player. I think Volvo tops them all. That hole in the headrest for your mullet to dangle through is pure genius!

Cruise control hands down. I`s so crutial to me that i would not drive a car for a long distance without it, heck would not even own a car that doesn`t have CC.
I'm shocked Ford will present a pickup in 2021 without cruise.
I'm will to bet they're throttle by wire nowadays, so basically a code addition/deletion.
"We'll remove an economy /comfort feature so you will add a "T" package to your build for 1000's."

Oh, and the 2-way-open wagon tailgate with internal window - say Chevelle wagon 1971 or so.

I think I might have to go with cupholders also. Just so handy. Grab a coffee and go out the door, and sip a coffee on the drive. I often have a water bottle but not many cup holders will hold that, so sometimes I have to chase that around on the passenger seat.

Although power steering and power brakes have to be right up there. I’m to the point where I might never buy another vehicle without them. In a light car they are not really necessary, but most things today just have too much weight.

Definitely NOT the Start button. It's not a race car. It's actually more work to use it (have to press gas, too). And it's just a gimmick.

In terms of actually answering this question, I'm a fan of my 2002 Tahoe's rear seats. When I go hunting, I just sleep in the rear seat instead of bothering setting up tents and all that jazz like everyone else does. Downside of that is if I need to leave I could have my spot taken.

It'd be even better if they folded flat to make a wider "bed".

On my Dodge Laramie the bottoms of the back seat flip up and it has a flip out flat platform. Sleeping bag with pad and your are good to go. I like the cup holders and the headlight dimmer on the turn signal.

Cup holders.

Remember, there were no such thing like closed liquid tumblers or such back then. Open cups was it. Cup holders actually spurred the development of such beverage containers to make life easier for drivers and passengers. A regular cup wouldn’t fit well in a cup holder.

Well I was going to agree with the handle to get into the bed of my truck. Then I read further and saw cupholders and have to agree with that. 2 of my vehicles have no cup holders and 1 of them has such a bad system its unusable. Hmm they happen to all be made by the same company as well :)
