Best engine oil for HEUI High Pressure Oil Pump

Best oil in the locally available or boutique category.
Off the shelf options would be valvoline heavy duty full synthetic and mobil delvac extreme, chevron delo xsp, and supertech fs diesel somewhat in that order for 15w-40. For 5w-40 Mobil 1 Delvac ESP is much better than Rotella T6 5w-40. I wouldn't run shells diesel oil since I'm weary of their poor anti foaming performance especially with mechanical injection engines. For boutique the sky's the limit. HPL amsoil and redline for those.

The 54,000 miles I put on my 1995 F-250 was Rotella T6 5w-40. Seemed to like a lower winter grade to get the injectors to work better.
I ran 5w40 rotella in my dad's 2000 7.3 powerstroke with no problem. My 2000 7.3 powerstroke Excursion drank 15w40 t6. Recently I had stiction problems so I ran the hot shots stiction eliminator perhaps this cleaned my rings. I will run rotella 5w40 t6 next oil change and see what happens
I ran 10k intervals several times in both that 7.3L & my current 6.0L Power Stroke and the used oil analysis came back in good shape.
