Hi All.
I have a Toyota Land Cruiser with a 6 cylinder Turbo Diesel, and it's been a bit neglected in the coolant department. I wish to do a nice chemical flush on the system before I change the coolant. I've read some of the posts on this forum about that, but I'd like to know some opinions about the best chemical out there that will do an effective job of cleaning out the system and not damage the cooling system components. The radiator is an aluminum/plastic type.
The truck has been good about not overheating until recently. On a couple of steep hill climbs, the temps climbed up a bit. I am pretty convinced the fan clutch is operating properly, and the thermostat is fine also. I'm pretty sure I have some moderate blocking in the radiator.
So I'm looking for a chemical solution to this before I take the more drastic step of radiator replacement.
thanks for any help/suggestions
