I'm suprised no one has mentioned American Graffiti.
"Toad is that you in that beautiful car? Man what a waste of machinery.

AG Hollywood Knights are at the top of my list.
The Steve Mcqueen movie was pretty good too but after a while its like how many gears does that Mustang (or is it a Shelby?) have. Every 15 seconds he shoves in the clutch and revs the engine then puts it back in the same gear

But the sound in Bulitt was glorious. Modded 390 big block. Goldfinger starring James Bond had a good car chase as well I just remembered.

Vanishing Point was almost a cult movie .

BTW , a Camaro was used to crash into the Dozers

The first part of the Road Warrior is pretty **** awesome! I liked the clutch activated roots blower! LOL My vote would be for Duel. Most have never heard of it even though it was directed by Steven Spielberg.

Racing Movie- "Grand Prix" 1966, about Formula 1

Drama- "Tucker" about Tucker and the car he tried to bring to market, against the big 3.

Chase scene- "The French Connection"..chase in New York City under an elevated train line.

Comedy where car was centrally involved...."National Lampoon's Animal House"....Flounder's brother's Lincoln smashed up, then transformed to become the "Deathmobile" with turret made to look like a cake on top, with message painted on it, "Eat Me"

Imo, the black interceptor looked better in the first Mad Max (not the road warrior). I don't like the fuel tank hanging off the back, or the crash damage at the front. Not the way to treat "the last of the V8 interceptors"

That would be so cool ! It's a vehicle I'd love to see in the flesh, along with the Mad Max Interceptor. I assume your friend has the second stunt truck (used in the bus and and railroad crossing scenes) ? The first one was well and truly destroyed.

Btw, I'll also add The Transporter to the list. The movie and plot were a little weak, but the 740iL BMW was the star of the show imo.
