Just ditched the I-Phone 4 for a Galaxy 4 (Android OS). Wanted to knoe the best APP or at least hear some recommendations.

There's a car maintenance app for Apple?
Care to share what you're referring to?

First off, my condolences.

Second, what are you looking for in an app? There are tens or hundreds of car-related apps. Are you looking for one that tracks your fuel use, lets you input frequencies for maintenance, and reminds of them when your mileage gets near (through fuel use input)? Or are you looking for something more like a database that lets you key in maintenance services?

Lots of solutions out there, depending on what you are looking for.

acar works well for vehicle maintenance records for a few vehicles. I tried it, but found my own custom access database is easier to use for fuel economy, expenses, records, etc.

I settled on My Cars (Fuel Logger++). It was simple enough for me and allowed me to backup my files to a few different locations automatically so I didn't have to worry about losing anything.

It is also one of the few free ones to export to excel format.

Have never looked into them before, so I have no idea.

I'm looking to track my maintenance records for a few vehicles and a couple quads, 16k standby generator, etc... Not so much for fuel economy.

I=Phone 4 was the best phone I've ever had. 2 full years and never an issue....BUT the 4s and 5 are lame and 5 battery life is miserable. I went with the Galaxy 4 and it synch's well with my Galaxy 10 tablet.

congrats on the Galaxy S4! 5" screen makes all the difference, plus the fastest smartphone processor on the market, AND you can stick an microSD car in it and kick up the storage a lot!

Honestly, I've only used an excel spreadsheet because if I wanted to add extra notes or put a personal note to me like how I fixed something faster or a tweak I made and need to know about later, I'll have all that available.

When I started spreadsheet, there was no smartphones! And putting notes in a Palm Pilot wasn't very efficient!
