Theoretically, when you step on the brake you are moving a column of fluid through the lines, and when you take your foot off, the column of fluid goes back the other direction. Maybe 1/4 or 1/2 inch in each direction. That the new fluid in the reservoir will mix with old fluid all the way back at the rear is anybody's guess. Maybe, maybe only after a year or two.
