Best Alternative to AMSOIL Air Filter?

Hi

Amsoil does not makes Air Filters for most of my cars, I no longer want to continue with K&N. Do not wanna go back to plain old paper filter. Do not want to have any filter which has oil on it.

So what are my alternative options?

I am looking for a filter which will at least have an air flow at par with regular paper filter but provide better filtration!

If the above criteria is being met even by a performance filter...I did be open to look into it!

Guys please help me out and I live in Canada!

Thx HTSS_TR but whats the differe between AFE Pro-Dry S Filter and AFE High Performance filter (lower priced)?

which filters better and which has a higher air flow?
and are the both oil free?

AFE High Performance filters are factory pre-oiled and are cleanable with oil, Pro-Dry S filters do not need oil.

Best alternative is OEM.

but OEM is a paper filter...I can get regular ACDeclco/Fram/Purolator/NAPA air filter from anywhere locally...i am sure a lot cheaper than getting it from the dealer...

i changed my mind...i think i am gonna stick to K&N...it is not like i drive my car all the time in Farming land or out in forest...6 months of the year earth is covered with snow or frozen ice....so i think i be okay!

You want the best fit and the oem's generally seem to fit better than some after market filters.

Sounds good to me, I think you will be fine.

The AFE Dry Pro-S, gives a snug, slightly compressed fit in my '93 Civic. In my opinion, better than the factory offering.

Hi

There are many threads trying to defend the best filtration system other than OEM.

I would like to see a filter that the filters out the carbon dioxide molecules out of the incoming air leaving pure oxygen for pure combustion, then I would start getting excited.

Is there such a filter ??

If there was such a filter, I doubt your vehicle would notice.

Carbon dioxide is only 0.038% of normal air.

You want something that filters in O2 to your engine, and filters out N2 to your tires.

I am looking for alternative AMSOIL EAA213, which is out of stock everywhere.
Motorcraft FA1696 (=Purolator Classic 95% efficiency) is good but not excellent.
May be someone can recommend alternative of EAA213 with synthetic media?
