Best air filters these days?

Anyone using Carquest for air filters?

Yes I have one in the Cadillac right now. They are great but usually not the best value unless you find them on sale.

Call me dumb but I use K&N in everything, never had any issues UOA always looked good.

Try looking inside the clean side of the air intake with a bright flashlight. Swipe your finger in there, is it clean?

Recently bought a couple of the Carquest Premium filters on a buy two get $5 off deal. Installed one and it fits perfectly. Looked very similar to the Purolator that came off. In fact, I wonder if they are made by Purolator?
