Think OP wrote wish there was a 15w40 Synthetic? guess Royal Purple has their version and others have 5w40 …

I have used M1 10-30 for 30 years in my OPE with never a problem.

I don't use much 10W-30 in OPE, mostly 15W-40 for me in all OPE. But when I did I liked Mobil 1 10W-30 High Mileage the best.

Really, almost any, but I'd vote for M1 or Rotella 10w30

If it was mine I would use 10W30 white bottle Red Line. Probably over kill but I like the polarity aspects of the high ester content for a splash lubed motor.

kolher engines need extra zinc and 10w-30 only! I only use kolher brand oil in mine. learned this the hard way. dealers or small engine shops and tractor supply have it

Brand name HDEO doesnt have enough zinc?

I'm changing over to Rotella T4 10w30 next season for my Kohler 18hp Courage. I saw it was reasonable decent on zinc.

Magnatec 10w30 works great in my vast ope... Delo 400 SD 15w30 too.
